It's about as far away from a generic "Best Western" pardon the pun, as you can get. We spent last night outside of Helena Montana, on thousands of acres of open range land. I fully expected John Dutton & Rip to ride up and ask why we were squatting on their land and then ask a second question, if we needed a ride to the train station.
Julie and I along with our dog Charlie, are taking 12-18 months exploring this great and beautiful country in the comforts of Coach Addy, our 2021 Tiffin Open Road 34PA. Last night, 6/25/23, we celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary in the most incredible resort on earth. We were together in nature, in Montana, experiencing all natures glory and all her fury, together as a couple.
From the "Big Sky" horizon of a 100 endless miles, to the artistry of an evolving sunset and landscape colors changing rapidly as the sun peeked out from clouds floating low over the rolling landscape. An artwork unequaled that would humble any human artist.
Then, as if nature was performing an encore, came the immediacy of an unexpected violent storm pelting Coach Addy with a couple of inches of heavy rain, lightning and thunder right at the coach along with 60 mph winds. We pulled in the slides, raised the jacks, and rode the rocking of the coach caused by the high winds. We clinked our glasses in celebration and love, and rode out the roughly 90 minute tempest.
We are nourished beyond belief, what an incredible show for our 18th anniversary.
A real life "Best Western"
We're on the Great Open Road... and the journey continues.
